Taylor Mead Made This Movie Great For Me!

Dude is so goofy looking and supremely old now, but man is he funny! The way he asks if they can pretend the crappy coffee is champagne is so classic! I just couldn't stop watching that part. Without his part in this movie, it would have been just good to me. Instead, now it is up there in my list of GREAT movies.

I agree, Taylors' bit at the end was nice, simple and effective. I suppose whatever you think about the film, that ending can be interpreted in different ways.

For me, it felt like watching years of being hyped up on coffee and cigs (see first sketch where both characters are twitchy, uncomfortable and restless) - to finally reaching the end of this 17 year filming project with the last one, where the old characters seem to be coming down and getting tired - ending with a two minute nap. I liked it!

I absolutely adored Taylor Mead in this film. What was so endearing about him? Sublime pathos? Delicate tragedy?

I wonder what he's up to these days, but he has no message board.

Yes, I agree. I think Taylor really stuck out in his manner of speaking and his looks. I wish this movie had more of him and less of the bloody Wu Tang Clan.
