And the best segments are...
OK, so will all agree that the best segments are "Cousins" and "Cousins?", right?

shareI have only seen the film once, last night, but I felt that the first half of the film wasn't as good as the second. I liked "Cousins" and "Cousins?", Jack Shows Meg His Tesla Coil, and Delirium particularly. Most of the rest were okay but the last half is much more entertaining.
share1. Champaigne
2. Tesla Coil
3. Cousins?
I just thought Champaigne tied up the movie pretty well, and Taylor Mead is sooo good in it. Right out of the gate: "I've lost touch with the world." (and he has-- "Where are we?" "The armory.") Then there's the part where he pimps Paris in the 20's and explains, and the other character just says "New York in the 70's-- the late 70's" w/out explanation, but is any really needed?
After watching Jack Shows Meg His Tesla Coil admittedly there was an urge to go get one and roll it into the nearest Starbucks or whatever on a red wagon, don the gloves and goggles, and to fire it up-- can you imagine? This isn't really the point of the scene but oh well.
Cousins?-- "It would be shabby to give you my number now?" "Mmm . . . yes" 'nuf said.
Jack shows Meg his Tesla Coil- because I love the white stripes
Cousins- because Cate Blanchett is awesome
1. Delirium
2. Twins
3. Strange to Meet You
4. Champagne
5. Cousins?
6. Jack Shows Meg His Tesla Coil
7. Cousins
8. Somewhere in California
9. No Problem
10. Those Things'll Kill Ya
11. Renee

Cousin? was my favorite, very awkward. Molina is great in it. Cousins was good too, and so was Somewhere in California. Delirium is the most popular, it's pretty funny and quotable, but not my favorite. The two old gangsters was good too.
shareHey, wow.
That's pretty much exactly my order.
Though maybe I'd have switched Cousins and the White Stripes around.
I didn't enjoy COUSINS that much, my two favorites were NO PROBLEM and DELIRIUM.

I'd go with the Renee French segment, it's so subtle and this actress says so much without uttering a word, it's great. Second runner up would be the Cate Blanchett segment because she really does play each part well and completely with it's own nuance.

Hell yeh, Cate ROCKS !!!
And of course, the last one, it was the one that brings sense to the whole idea !
God ! JIM JARMUSCH is one of the best ...
"I'm thirsty & your daughter is a cow ! Do the math ! "
"Somewhere in California" is my favorite.
"Who knows where thoughts come from? They just appear!" - Lucas, Empire Records
Those two are the best, with "Renee" in third place - just the way she's quietly trying to have her titular cigarette and coffee and peacefully read up on guns, knives and building race bikes while that waiter keeps intruding...
I enjoyed the whole movie but I was in fits of laughter at "Cousins?" and really enjoyed Cate's double role in "Cousins".
My favourites, in order: Renee, Cousins, Champagne, Delirium, Jack Shows Meg His Tesla Coil, These Things'll Kill You and Strange to Meet You. The others I found patchy.

Yes. "Cousins?" and to a lesser extent "Cousins", with Blanchett, were good. The other segments are rather forgettable, unfortunately.
