I am curious, my child liked the show when she was small and I think the TV show and perhaps the movie may have contributed to some pretty poor choices that she made.

It's pretty important, she was killed the end of November '05, and I wanted to verify any info, she was enamoured of the show as a kid and as an adult had a boyfriend (not the one who killed her, someone different) who has a General Lee.

IMDB says the film was out, for general public audience, the 5th of August 2005.
For the DVD release, Google mentions December 6, 2005.
Note that the DVD release of the first seasons of the TV show was way before that. I got mines in Spring of 2005, from Amazon (first 3 seasons).
First of all I want to say that I am very sorry for what happened to your kid. Drunk and driving is how I am thinking she died.(Am I right?) Also can you really blame a T.V. show/movie?(Very good movies and T.V. shows.) I mean everyone wants to do the things Bo and Luke do it show/movie, but it sounds like your kid was older when she died. Now I'm not saying it was your kid's fault because I don't know what really happened. I just don't think you should blame a T.V show/movie either.
