After all that trouble the race ends before the hearing??

Boss Hogg goes to ALOT of trouble to put on that race...spends the whole movie doing it so no one will show up at court that day. Then he makes sure to start the race early enough so it's over before the hearing at Noon..hahahhah

Actually he says that he needs prickett to sign autographs for 2 hours after he wins the race, thats why he hires him.

There wouldn't be a need for prickett if the race would finish that late.

I know the story aint very good but there aren't big plot holes really...
