The good and bad things about this film

Although I admit that I thought the film was lousy, I still quite enjoyed it. So here I am gonna say what I liked and disliked about it.

Firstly The Likes

Sean william scott and johnny knoxville. To me, they completely embody a pair of rebels/lawbreakers/anti-authoritarians. They really look like two people who would happily break the law..and even make it look cool. Also they have a good chemistry on-screen and probably would get more sex than their TV counterparts. Now I'm not saying that either performance was oscar worthy...but they captured the persona's well.

Also the car stunts were fantastic. How many people who saw this at the theatre didn't want to run out and jump into their general lee's and zoom off. They were entertaining and really captured to ole time spirit. But then again, even in the non action scene's...the general lee still looks great


Now the dislikes

The plot and script were awful. Also the films attempts at humour fell completely flat. I didn't get a single laugh out of it.

And the casting left me bewildered. I mean Willie nelson as Uncle Jessie, Burt Reynolds as Boss hogg and M C Gainey as Roscoe....I mean seriously????????. Good knows what the hell anyone was thinking when they cast them (I will forgive Jessica simpson cause even if she is a horrible actress...she still looks like a sexpot)
