this movie is all kinds of lame, but willie nelson is pretty much cooler than jesus. am i right?

Sorry, but Willie is not cool. Its debatable wether he was ever cool. Now, he is know as the old guy who got busted for pot possesion. His singing carreer ended about 1990 and now he tours the world repeating the same songs over and over for the same crowds.
I say this as a country music fan. I liked a lot of his music back in the seventy's and eighties, but enough already. He hasn't changed with the times and kept up with current trends. He probably doesn't want to. On the Road Again was great the first half million times I heard it. Now, like Willie, its gone past iconic and has entered the land of "Been there, heard that, next song!"

No, he's not cooler than Jesus. He's cool, but not cooler than Jesus. In fact he's not as cool as Waylon was either, although he sure is a lot better than all those contemporary pop idiots who call themselves country singers nowadays.
shareI like his songs but hate him in this movie. He looks like he's going to jump Daisy's bones at first chance out behind the barn. He is not the "sage" fatherly figure that uncle Jessie needs to be. Of course, the writing is horrible which is not Willie's fault.
