How could the Clousseau LAPD miss the Carjacker in the passenger's seat?

They made the husband/squeeze of the frisked/molested lady get out of the car-and almost KILLED him-but Ole Ludacris Character skates home free.

And I'm not so sure if in REAL life he wouldn't have "bit the hand that fed him" when he was handed the Gun back??

Also-is it Plausible that the chop shop would give him a van full of Chinese Aliens??

None of the black guys were seen committing a series crime. The cop's attention was focused on the yelling black guy with the gun.

Returning the gun was stupid and symbolic.

The Russian was into a lot of shady crap.
