Watching something another person put on YouTube for the world to see is not illegal. Watching it on TV is not illegal.
If I was the one who posted it on YouTube, that wouldn't even be illegal, my account would just be suspended or erased. If I asked for someone to burn me a copy of the DVDs, that would be illegal.
