Why oh why did they give Joey a completely new sister for the spin-off? I mean, the show would have only really appealled to Friends fans anyway and they would (as I was) already remember what each of his sisters looked like. That spoiled it for me in the first episode alone.

The character of Gina Tribbiani was featured in a Friends episode. It was just a different person playing Gina.

Because Drea de Matteo is a better actress then whoever played Gina on Friends. Whoever played her on Friends wasn't good enough of an actress to be a lead on the show.

I liked Drea more than any of the actresses they had playing his sisters on TOW Chandler Can't Rememember Which Sister. You're complaining about Gina, but having Christina Ricci play one of his sisters after I'd already seen an OLDER actress play her on Friends disturbed me much more as did changing her name. On Friends she was Mary Terese, on Joey she was Mary Teresa.

Yeah but Joey and all of his sisters from the episode you mentioned are Italian, clearly Italian and none of them were at all similar to his sister in the show. Joey is just a stupid program. It's like they made a list of everything that was just stupid and then did it.

I guess you hate Friends then because Carol was played by two different actresses.
