Has any one tried EVP?

Ouija boards are so much fun, the best time I ever used one I had a sudden and complete urge to kill someone, enter politics, and get myself an Ice Cream cone all at the same time. It was hella cool!

just downloaded that and it sounded wierd... too wierd even

but i heard some familiar sound effects, the same ones you get when you reverse sounds (i play around with FruityLoops very often so i know what some sounds are like when played in reverse)

so i reversed it in windows's sndrec32.exe. that wasn't good, too fast, so i slowed it down and this is what i got:

1. the're some dialogues from a TV, can clearly hear someone saying "there's nobody here" between the 5th and 7th second and between seconds 36 and 39 someone else say's something about "time control, lol

2. the recorder was set down on some wooden surface, on which the person was putting something like a cup or glass (20-23rd second)

3. I can hear some characteristic sounds that resemble footsteps, that's right after the 23rd second

4. next there is someone sitting on "something" that's creaking, probably a wooden chair or some couch with springs, must be very near the recorder

5. the last sound, a characteristic single crack, i think it's someone reaching for the recorder, had to be something made of plastic, small, either a low quality dictaphone or a digital camera, right? :)

The 2nd bit sounded all too familiar, just as when i'm talking with my sister over skype and she's on a laptop on a wooden desk, and she uses the built-in mic + headphones, always makes my ears hurt when she drinks tea or coffee

so anyway, nice try, but that's not EVP :D

do you think i really care about my grammer on a news board and if you can put down what we belive but you can't take it when someone tells you theres not a god if theres anything your faith teachs you is'nt it to keep an open mind about things

I am going to find out if there is a 'spirt' in my bedroom tonight. I don't have a tape recorder, but my MP3 player has a built in recorder. Do you think that would work?

I really think I might have some indian ghosts in our house. Our town was where alot of indians stopped on the Trail of Tears. Seeing that we are right next to the biggest pond in our town, and they would probably settle right next to a water sourse...
