Funeral scene, why was the husband so hostile?

The funeral of the woman whom Keaton was unable to save, but he did save the baby...why was the woman's husband so hostile to him? His baby was alive because of him. No one else was available to save him. Why isn't he grateful, instead of hateful?

Probably thought that MK's character was a kook.

I thought that was one of the more outstanding things wrong with this movie. The husband sounded like a wife abuser.

The guy did not seem to be too grateful that Keaton had just saved his kid.

He just buried his wife, and now some guy who took his baby out of the car is telling him that he's talking to her in the afterlife through the airwaves. I would be a little creeped out too.

A little creeped out is fine, but hostile to the point of almost threatening is a little unreasonable considering that the guy just saved his kid's life.

Yes, he totally seemed to go over the top instead of showing any real degree of gratitude to a guy who risked his life to save the dude's child. It makes me wonder whether there was a deleted scene showing Jonathon nagging him prior to the funeral.🐭

He was hostile because his wife was all into that. Her name was in Raymond Price's visitor's logbook. The husband called MK and the others "freaks" if you remember.
