Bootleg "A Clockwork Orange"?

Control: Variety reports Michelle Rodriguez will join Matt Dillon and Willem Dafoe on the film about a death row inmate offered the chance to be involved in a science experiment to modify behaviour.

Wow, another one from Michelle. I hope this ones different from her previous movies. I hope her role here is somehow challenging, so it can help her career big time.

BTW, watch SWAT this August 8. c",)

I think the similarities starts and stops with the basic premise of experimental behavioral modification methods used on criminals. From the tidbits I have been able to dig up on the net, it seems this will be a very different kind of movie. It sounds intriguing, and with Willem Dafoe in the cast the odds look good for the final result.

alright, Ray Liotta plays another psychopath. I can't wait to see it. Ray is at his best when he plays violent characters.

UNLAWFUL ENTRY, TURBULENCE, NO ESCAPE, NARC, IDENTITY - in a way, come to mind. :D

reply

I agree, Ray really shines as the bad guy.

Maybe this will be some sort of odd mix of Clockwork Orange / The Experiment / and that one segment from Tales From The Hood.

reply

I hope it doesn't be too much like A Clockwork Orange... Hollywood is running out of ideas here.

"This isn't the first time I had a gun pointed at me."

I think it's just copying the Ludivco technique part but it sounds fantastic, I hope Ray finally gets an oscar for this!
