I saw a screening...

Here in LA there was a "focus group" for this film.

It's really good, with a few cliché moments. However the story is such that it unfolds through the entire film. I don't want to spoil to much. Ray Liotta is great. And fans of Michelle Rodriguez can rejoice, she smiles, and acts like a woman. Althought her part is abit of a small and meaningless one.

The acting is great, with a little storyline tweaking it cold be a smoother story. Dafoe is in fine form here as always.

This film won't change the world, but it was very good.

If you are fans of Liotta, I would see it for sure, if you are looking for "Silence of the Lambs" quality, you might want to rent "Silence of the Lambs".

Look, I saw a screening of this movie also. I thought it was great. But the ending was very dry and cold. I give it **+ stars but the ending kept it from me giving it a ***. What did you think of the ending? Wasn't it cold the way Dafoe just well, don't want to spoil to much but didn't you think it was a cold ending? They really should re-shoot that to something more than what was.

Well i've just seen it on tv (belive me or not) and what can i say. I find it a decent movie! Nothing extra-plus, nothing extra-minus. Some big names on this movies, and a subject about human mind (in my opinion).

You should never underestimate the predictability of stupidity.

This movie was absolutely terrible! The plot was weak, the execution pathetic, and the actors were wasted. I kept laughing at the screening because I thought the movie was a joke! Ray Liotta was a good choice but Dafoe's character was poorly defined. Michele's character was underwritten and pointless. If anyone was surprised by the ending, look at the freakin' title of the movie! This movie seemed to be written by a group of screenwriting 101 students. Don't be surprised if Control is shelved for a long time before it's dumped under more high profile movies.

ok everybody... tell me a truth here. when is it coming out and exactly what channel did you see it on... was it cable or something else and is it out on rental... because if its on tv... it should be on rental. answer me or ...or.... i don't know.. i will write my angry thoughts
