Wow, I'm impressed
I rented this yesterday night with no expectations(rottentomatoes has like 2 reviews of the film), thinking it will be another B-movie disappointment, and I couldn't have been more wrong. The movie has its flaws, but these are completely overwhelmed by the amazing performances of Dafoe & Liotta. This is a really touching story that had me interested from beginning to end.
It really saddens me when good movies like this dont get the success & attention they deserve, because of other mainstream garbage polluting the theatres. Oh well, I'm glad to see some other people here on the board have good taste and enjoyed the movie as well.
Cheers.
