Was 'Control' a 'good' film?
I recently attended a screening of the film at the George Eastman House in Rochester, New York, and I was surprised to see that Tim Hunter (the director) was there. After a brief pre-movie talk and then the screening, there was an interesting question and answer session. A lot of the film buffs there seemed to really like it. I thought it was definitely an entertaining movie, although some of the acting was hammy and some of the plot could have been cut out (although the screening included an extra 5 minutes of the movie that was not included in the video version.
