Lee Ray is a ex convict who is looking for a new life after life of crime. he starts all over again from the very bottom and still very low in the chain of society.
there is obvious attraction in it.
Dr. Copeland is financially great condition, in a high position in his occupation.
one woman is his ex-wife, the other is his girl-friend, a woman in the same occupation who look up to successful men.
obviously there is attraction there.
