Lt Ford and his band of merry men

I didn't like Ford in season 1, he was just a tagalong with no real purpose and very bland. But, once he got the wraith toxin in him he got a happy go lucky personality because he loved his new abilities so much and I began to really like the character. It would have been cool if they made an ongoing storyline of him leading his band of hopped up pirates and the Atlantis team running into them every so often. So far they have the Genni dudes being a thorn in their side but they are pretty boring. Fords gang could really do some crazy kamikaze stuff to liven things up.

What happened to them again? I am near the end of s5 now and can't remember where they went hahaha

He is presumed to be dead after fighting off Wraith inside a hive ship to give Sheppard enough time to escape. They didn't show his death though, so he could have been brought back if the producers wanted.

Although some fans don't like the novels, and/or don't consider them to be canon....in "Third Path" which is the final book in the Legacy series....Lt Ford is alive The book just came out a few weeks ago.

It's unfortunate ford wasn't the only problem this show had. The whole wraith storyline became boring and uninteresting. IT's not like the Cylon's or Cardassians in BSG and Star Trek: DS9.

I agree, I would've loved to see that.
