The Asgard have always been my favorite race, and was heart broken when they committed mass suicide. Thor just has a meter to his voice that just makes you want to listen. with Heimdall we saw a little bit of shortness, but was also more friendly. But my favorite one is hands down is Hermiod. He is such a smart ass and just nails the dry humor I find hilarious.

The Kavanagh drop was probably the funniest line in the entire series.
I crack everytime I see it.

I thought he was pretty funny when he first showed up. I was sad that the Asgard had to commit mass suicide.

Agreed. It was amazing how they gave such personalities to the Asgard.

He is my fave and whenever they showed the Daedalus I wanted him to have lines. He and McK trade barbs a couple times in S2E20 that were classic.

Dr. Rodney McKay: [Walking into the room and seeing Hermiod]
They didn't need you on the Daedalus?
Hermiod: Colonel Cauldwell believed my time was better spent disabling their jamming code.
Dr. Rodney McKay: Ha! So they can fly that ship without you.
Hermiod: Yes, [brief pause]but apparently you cannot run these tests without[emphasis:]me.
Dr. Rodney McKay: I am sure I would have been fine.
Hermiod: I am not as sure.
Dr. Rodney McKay: Really? Well...Typing code on computer]
Dr. Rodney McKay: Ok, try it now?
Hermiod: [Executes code and Simulation Successful]
Dr. Rodney McKay: Well well turns out the human knows what he was doing after all!
Hermiod: Indeed.[Coolly] Your assistance on this project will be noted.
Dr. Rodney McKay: [Annoyed] My assistance?
