Could've had Rachel turn out to be a villain

Like Vicki Vale in Telltale games have her be like Lady Arkham pretending to be Bruce's unrequited love interest or close friend but is really a psychopath and a crimelord.

What would be her motivation since they knew each other since grade school? Maybe her father ruined and killed himself; hence Rachel holding the Waynes responsible?  

That or suffered child abuse(not the kind of thing you share with friends) or League Of Shadows agent at a very young age.

I kind of wish Rachel's character had been left out completely. They could've used a love interest from the comics instead of an original character.

Was like a two scene character that became the love interest for two films. Could've reused Selina Kyle, Vicki Vale or Julie Madison or one never used before.
