Better than Identity.
What do you think? I personally believe this is better than the first movie.

shareI think they do sit side-by-side nicely. Identity pays respect and likeness to the t.v show (...which it should), whilst Supremacy respects Identity - then adds a little something else.
I couldn't evaluate Supremacy as a stand-alone film (as one could with Identity)...but that only adds to why I like it; it keeps a great thing going. So accolades go to Liman for setting the tone, then Greengrass for skilfully harmonising.
Ultimatum was a *beep* storm and doesn't count...
Supremacy is my favorite of the series with Identity not too far behind.
I enjoyed Ultimatum, but for some reason it doesn't connect with me like the first 2 films.
FWIW my personal ranking of the trilogy is as follows...
1) Supremacy
2) Identity
3) Ultimatum
I don't even bother adding Legacy to the list as it was a mostly forgettable movie.
Really, REALLY looking forward to Jason Bourne 2016 this summer!!!

Sadly, we can add to Legacy "Jason Bourne".
They should have tried something different with JB, because even "Ultimatum" feels too repetitive and overall unnecessary, just like another level of the same game.
"Supremacy" is also my favourite, not only between Bourne's movies.
Definitely not. I just re-watched both Identity and Supremacy earlier today one after another, and I think that as a whole Identity is stronger, reasons being:
- Better camera ( none of the shaky stuff)
- Stronger character development + great dialogue, particularly for Bourne. I loved the build-up of his relationship with Maria.
- Epic music ( Paris car chase and use of Paul Oakenfold)
- Better production value overall with more care and fluidity in the story
I actually grew more attached to Bourne in the 1st installment as we got to know him more via more developed script.
