Why did John yell at Flor?

When she was standing outside, why did John snap at her, and tell her to take a seat and get out of the wind? Sometimes it seems like his character is bi-polar.

The wind was making her look pretty and he didn't want to develop feelings for her so he asked her to get out of the wind, it was supposed to be kind of funny.

It wasn't "kind of funny".. It was hilarious! I laughed out loud so hard. It was obvious why John yelled at her. But what I think may have been overlooked was Flor's understanding of that reaction. I hope she didn't think he was being mean or anything. :-)

The wind was forcing her clothes against her body and showing off her shape, and he was getting a chub.

Wow, its actually my FAVORITE funny moment of the flick..and you didn't "get" it?!?! for shame.

In fact, I have a very cute co-worker that has a fan running at her desk...every now & then she'll let her hair flow in the fan draft and I tell her the SAME thing! w/o remembering seeing the movie, SHE even got it. We laugh about it (I still kinda want her...lol).

In the flick you can see he sits, looks at her and his mouth DROPS open...overwhelmed from her beauty and how she looks scenic...and sexy, hence, he asks her to "get out of the damn wind!" Hilarious scene!

Yep.. As everyone already said, hormones a-ragin'.. In that one outburst it's supposed to be plainly obvious he's dedicated to the survival of his family and Flor is weakening his resolve by simultaneously being ridiculously sexy and not having a fricking clue she's sexy..

Or something like that..
