Anyone catch or understand her last words to John?

Flor says these 2 words in Spanish to John right as she's leaving the Clasky house for good... what are they and what do they mean?

Listening to the DVD commentary, James Brooks says to make this line loud enough to be audible to only about 60% of the people watching...

Appreciate the help!

She said "Mi Amor" which means "my love."

Yeah, quite a beautiful moment

Lol! Didn't they steal that from "Lost in Translation?"

She was speaking to her daughter and said "vamonos, mi amor..." Which means "let's go, my love." In between Vamonos and Mi amor she turned and looked at Adam Sandler. She wasn't telling him "Mi amor" it was just a continuation of the sentence.

I took it to mean a bit of both, she was saying it to her daughter and then she looked at him and was continuing her sentence but was also talking about him.

People do that a lot when they are talking to someone they will look at someone else and be directing something to them also

"I took it to mean a bit of both, . . ."

I believe you are correct. The continuation is a continuation of the last thing she said to John as she ran from the restaurant, too.

yes, nice moment on the picture

Everyone is correct about her saying "mi amor" to her daughter while looking right at John. However, that was absolutely her also saying to John "I love you" once again.. She did it at the restaurant in English and later, in Spanish. It was a way of confirming her true feelings. I loved it. :-)

I don't agree.

The scene goes like this:

She says "Yes," to John, walks away and whispers "Vamanos," at her daughter.
So softly that I had to re-watch the scene several times to catch her saying that. Anyway, right after she says that, John calls out to her, saying her name:"Flor". Only then she turns around to look at him and quickly says: "Mi amor." Because she says that after John called out to her and looks straight at him when she says it, I think it's highly improbable that she was saying it to her daughter. If he hadn't called after her before she responded that way, I'd agree, but not how the scene now unfolded.

I always thought she meant it for John because he did whisper her name as she walked passed him and she quickly whispered back, Mi amor, because just the night before she professed her love for him. It was kind of like a "goodbye" to him. I loved the scene though. It made me cry the first time because I knew they wouldn't be together.

It's just for John. I get really surprised at people's interpretations of things.

She looked at John in passing because she meant the mi amor for both him and Cristina.
