MEAN CREEK, Mysterious Skin, and Boy's Don't Cry. (haven’t seen the other ones from your list) these ones are totally the ones that stuck in my head.

If you haven't seen these films yet you should try cos you probably going to love them too.

I've seen sherrybaby and I love that one too, and it definatley should be on this list. The other ones I haven't seen but I'm definatley going to, they all look great, especially Paranoid Park It's directed by Gus Van Sant who directed Elephant (another amazing film)

reply

If you loved Elephant - you are going to adore Paranoid Park. I just kept watching and watching it. Probably the best film about what it is like to be a teenager)

My Top 5

1. Salo or the 120 Days of Sodom
2. Rear Window(2004)
3. The Skeleton Key
4. The 24th Day
5. Prayers for Bobby

After I watched Salo I was so disturbed. The images kept going though my mind over and over and over. I literally couldn't stop crying, I wasn't sad it was just weird I literally felt disturbed. I don't like watching torture films.

I think it's because the film touched upon the 4 basic human fears

1. Imprisonment
2. Fear
3. Pain
4. Death

Do I CAUSE YOUR FACE? Just like you caused Angelina Jolie's?
