So what happened to the coach?
Dead or moved? If he's alive they need to track him down and play some baseball with his head.

Yeah, I'm rewatching this film (one of my fav's though it is disturbing for sure) and I was wondering what became of the coach too. The reason I was wondering is because of the scene where Eric (the friend) is hanging in Neil's room with him, and Neil passes out, so Eric looks in his drawer...finds the old polaroid photos of him as a child with the coach's finger in his mouth, and the audio tape of the two of them playing around. The first thing that occurred to me was, if the coach was still out there somewhere, no way in HELL would he have given those treasures away. Especially the photo, since he said that was his favorite of the bunch.
So how did Neil come to be in possession of those items? Maybe coach went to jail and asked Neil to keep them safe for him...? maybe some angry parent ended up killing him after learning of what he had done to their kid, and Neil took his stuff to have a memento...? I know that's not likely...but neither is that coach would have given those items away. He would have kept them for later use.
At the end we learn that he seems to have moved away from the town.
