Help!

Knowing that I liked two of the actors in the series a friend in the UK taped the episodes for me (without watching them). Unfortunately, she must have had timer trouble. I am missing the last 5 minutes of each episode. If anyone remembers any of the endings (I know Paul and Estelle never "do", but what caused this not to happen). Example, in the first episode the tape runs out as all of Nobby's mourners are headed to the Slippery house on Paul' 20th anniversary.

Also seeking help... can anyone tell me how much success this series had?
I wanted to know if it will ever reach Australia. I just loooooooove Hugh Laurie, and I read Nigel Williams' "Fortysomething" recently and laughed the whole way through.

The series tanked and was moved to the graveyard slot after the second episode, so I doubt it will reach Australia.

argh! *bawls*
oh well... that's what I hate about not living in England, not getting to see shows with English actors!!!

Even living in England we only got to see the first two episodes before it was cancelled.

reply

It was cancelled? Really? 'Cos I'm sure I watched the series all the way through. Does anyone think that it might be transfered to DVD by...was it ITV? Even a shoddy one would be happily accepted by me *grin*

reply

They showed them all but had decided after two episodes had been shown that they wouldn't do another series. Much as I like Hugh Laurie and the rest of the cast, I found it pretty lame and didn't watch them all.

what - i saw the whole series = and i live in england!!

~ Life moves pretty fast. If you don't stop and look around once in awhile, you could miss it.

Every episode is available on Youtube now. I never got to see it on TV, but I love this series! Just search for Fortysomething.
