This is being released on DVD in the US April 2008.

Fortysomething is to be released the week of April 14, 2008 by Acorn Media in a two DVD set.

Sorry to have grouped you into the collective "we" - my bad.

I got the DVD on Friday & spent the weekend getting acquainted with the Slippery's. Well worth the wait & a nice little appetizer before the new episodes of "House."

I don't know that it tanked, but rather completed the storyline. The show was based on a book; perhaps the writer didn't want to expand the story. It's a shame, because I loved all 6 episodes and would have liked to have seen it continue for at least another 6.
