Not a fan of the Kutcher seasons...

Even though I like Ashton Kutcher. And they totally screwed up the house when remodeling it. Talk about ugly.

Yeah, it's a totally different show in a lot of ways. They should have literally just had Charlie get into a terrible car accident, get lots of surgery, and replaced him with Ashton as the same character. That would have least been interesting.

reply

Now that premise, I like!!

reply

I watched the entire series although I wasn't that happy with Ashton Kutehcer. I wonder why Charlie Sheen left the show. I missed him!

reply

He pissed off Chuck Lorre, so Lorre fired him.

reply

Oh..... thanks for your reply.

Charlie and the showrunner hated each other's guts and Charlie figured out he could make a lot more money doing exactly what he was doing without the guy or the network.

reply

It wasn't as good as the Charlie years but I still enjoyed some parts of it.

Seasons 9 and 10 were decent enough, but I felt the departure of Angus T. Jones was what went downhill with the show

If you watch the last season with Charlie, the show was already getting weird. Face it, most shows run their course. I can't watch anything from Big Bang Theory after the fourth season for instance.

I'm not a fan of Kutcher, but I thought he breathed some life into the show and extended it. Giving Bertha some more scenes helped as well, but the real problem with the last few seasons is that Allen got so overboard weird he was hard to watch.

In the early years, Charlie was the playboy with no morals and Allan was the sensible Joe that got a raw deal in his marriage. He did his best to provide for his son and tried to improve himself. In the later years, he'd sell his son for a weekend with a hooker and Kutcher was more the voice of reason.

reply

Personally, I feel they should have cancelled the show after firing Charlie Sheen.
