there is an episode where Charlie taunts Alan something like "You, you always look for those broken unstable women whom you could help out."
I know this is not much, even when it comes to the quote I'm merely paraphrasing, but maybe someone still can identify this episode I'm looking for.

A bit more information would help as that information refers to most of Alan's conquests.
shareCharlie specifically says that to Alan in at least two different episodes. The first is one of the two episodes with Frankie from season 1 where Charlie says that Alan's in over his head for trying to start a relationship with Frankie, saying that every woman he's ever been with--presumably including Judith--has been damaged and needy. The other was when he was dating Berta's granddaughter Naomi in season 4 and again Charlie was saying that Alan only ever gravitates toward damaged and needy women in the hopes that if he "fixes" them, they will reward him with sex. Likewise, he was trying to get him to dump the granddaughter in order to escape Berta's clutches.
