Real Charlie vs Animated Charlie

After the cold opening of Charlie's supposed funeral, Later Rose in her Sherman Oaks home where she lowered a tuna on toast with Vodka and then tossed down a shirt and shorts down the pit, Charlie seemingly was down there, and he esacapes the pit by throwing his other shirts to climb out (shown in animated short and Rose saw that he escaped in real life) later we saw a glance of him when he dropped off a check to Jenny at her apartment. At the end of the finale we see Charlie going back to his beach house Just before the piano dropped on him
