That's a peculiar comparison but I guess I can see where you're coming from. I can't say I've ever watched National Treasure and thought "Batman!" though.
In any case, National Treasure is a great adventure film. I would put it just one tier below the Indiana Jones trilogy and The Mummy '99.
I've watched the film several times and have always enjoyed it. It's a shame that the sequel was nowhere near as good as the first film. And then the franchise died.
