I really liked this .I give it an 8 out of 10.

I know, it’s another masterpiece thriller from Jonathan ‘Silence Of The Lambs’ Demme with brilliant performances and Denzel on fire.

I think it gets knocked for being a remake of a classic, and it assumes the audience has a level of intelligence that sadly too often isn’t there.

Anti-remakes bias. It should be at least in the high 7s

Agreed, it deserves 8.5 minimum, another superb Demme-Denzel team-up.

Wish they still made great thrillers like this.
