I would love to see the franchise continue in one way or another. However, it's exceedingly unlikely at this point that a sequel would ever happen. It's been about a decade since this film was released, and the two sequels weren't quite as well-known or profitable as the first film. (And even the first film was more of a cult movie than a mainstream hit, especially outside of Canada. Here in the US, I've only ever met two or three other people who had even heard of the films. Although I did get a handful of people really addicted to them.)

I think at this point, the only way the films will get any more real exposure or a chance to continue, is if they were rebooted, which is unfortunate. Sadly, there aren't enough people that are interested in learning about or discovering 14-year-old franchises with cult appeal for any further sequels to be viable at this point.
