Why was Brigitte acting like a teen/jailbait...

When she's clearly supposed to play a different role than in Ginger Snaps since this one isn't about puberty and girl problems?

Someone should've given Emily Perkins the memo because I don't think she understood her new role very well. It felt like she was the same troubled teen in Ginger Snaps but 4 years older.

She is the same character just different time so her personality should be the same.

But what I don't get is HOW, I know I'm knit-picking but if Ginger gets turned in the first movie how in the hell were they alive in the 1800's was this movie just made as a giant middle finger to the audience. Or is there some logic as to how they are both immortal, someone please help me understand this. It's been a while since i've watched it and don't get me wrong I really liked the movie and the werewolf costumes but just don't understand the concept.

reply

I took it as a form of reincarnation, like in Bram Stoker's Dracula in which Elizabeta and Mina are supposed to be connected.

I thought the film made it pretty obvious that this was their past lives and was explaining how the curse came about and how their family line were due to make the same mistake over and over

now what I didn't really understand was why they spoke like modern women

i picked up on that too from the movie. it seemed clear

Rob Zombie is one of the greatest directors today
