I like Arnold but this cast is unwatchable!

This show ain't as good without Trump. That's why we made him president! Also, they didn't have any pieces that explained who any of these people are. Didn't they used to do that?

reply

Arnold is more watchable than the cast.

reply

Yes, I thought that too! They used to tell us who these people were! I don't know half of these people!

reply

Ditto. I'll give it a few more episodes before I give up to see if it gets better. :(

I agree with you although we watched a little longer. We knew it couldn't get any worse. We were hoping it would get better, but we were wrong. It did get worse and was uncomfortable to watch.

reply

If you gave up in 15 minutes then you never should have started.

This cast is similar to past celeb apprentice casts.

Worse than some seasons, better than others.

I liked it.

Relax, all right? My old man is a TV repairman, he's got this ultimate set of tools. I can fix it!

I honestly didn't even miss Donald.

It's the same show with a new boss.

-Who is it?
-It's Grandpa. And it sounds like he's gotten into the horseradish again.

reply

I like Arnold. At least he doesn't eyeball all the women, which Donald certainly did. It was obvious to me just by watching him on The Apprentice that he sees women as meat.

Arnold seems to expect the women to actually do a good job and not use their sex to get by. There have been some really savy women on the show, but some did use their looks to get by with Donald.

reply

Agree. Donald was always on the creepy side. But I do miss him in the boardroom. He was tougher with them. I'm giving Arnold a chance because I do like him and value his opinions, but he needs to be stricter with them.

reply

Honestly, I think NBC and Mark Burnett did that un purpose this season. They went back to the basics like season 1 in 2004 to see what people like and dislike about the show. Then I am confident NBC will renew the show for 1 more season to improve on the changes based on fans reactions. Arnold is a good host and is starting to find his grove. Its not fair to compare Arnold to Trump as Arnold only had 2 episodes thus far where as Trump has been host for 14 seasons. If Arnold has many more seasons, people will warm up to him. Also Arnold is more well liked than Trump.

The tasks and boardrooms are about to get exciting and so are the advisors.

Also the ratings have been low the first two weeks as its been up against major football competition from ESPN that brought in 15-25 million viewers. Now with the competition back to normal this week, no football, Trump had his press conference last week, Trump taking office in 5 days, and Warren Buffet on the show, ratings should rise this week and the weeks to come.

reply

The only time he eyeballed the women was when they were talking over him while he was talking to the men.

I loved that look. I know it's scripted, but played it very well to scare the girls.

So did I - and took it off my DVR schedule. It was horrible just in the intro. I know 'CA' always had D-List celebs, but this was not even D-list celebs. These were "Remember them when they had 15 minutes of fame?" celebrities.

Arnold is alright but that accent is hard to listen to. I'm not sure if I can listen to that for an entire season.

reply

Im digging it.
