Trump ALREADY tweeting the ratings are down without him! LOL!

Wow, the ratings are in and Arnold Schwarzenegger got "swamped" (or destroyed) by comparison to the ratings machine, DJT. So much for....

being a movie star-and that was season 1 compared to season 14. Now compare him to my season 1. But who cares, he supported Kasich & Hillary

I understand why he would be salty at Arnold for disavowing him and basically dismissing their friendship, but I don't understand Trump highlighting the low ratings for the show. 1) He's still an executive producer so the show failing is not good for his bottom line and 2) a lot of people have said they are boycotting the show because of Trump not Arnold, so Trump is just drawing attention to his own lack of popularity.

His tweeting in this instance seems short-sighted to me.

I watched it last night and probably won't be watching from now on. It's just a drama queen soap opera. It's trash reality TV. I like some of the cast and Arnold but it's just one big cat fight.

reply

Absolutely, it makes no sense that he would tweet negatively on a show that he's executive producing.

Weird!

I have 2 theories.

1. Being magnanimous has its limits. He makes deals even after the fact, but inside the hood he is all human afterall. Until he is a full fledged politician (master in compartmentalizing all emotions) he needs an outlet to let off steam, for better or for worst.

2. I've been in Breitbart news and read the article of the new apprentice. 90% of thousands of comments ( though I only read a handful ) really dissed the new season. That leads me to believe Trump is merely twitting out this comment to galvanize his base. After all, he drives the news cycle, for better or for worst.

Amazing, isn't it? Has there ever been a show in television history which managed to simultaneously polarize both the left and the right?

The more Trump trash talks the show, the more people are gonna wanna watch it.

That is true and that is also why Trump wins again. People will come and watch and leave with distain.

Trump's surrogate Omarosa (EX apprentice contender) once said: “Every critic, every detractor, will have to bow down to President Trump,” she says. “It’s everyone who’s ever doubted Donald, whoever disagreed, whoever challenged him — it is the ultimate revenge to become the most powerful man in the universe.”

Trumo is such a spectacular narcissist he can't help but act like a spiteful little toddler even if it damages the brand that makes him money. Also, doesn't he realize that many people are boycotting the show because they don't want to support Trump?

reply

Trump has been shat on by all of hollywood so I don't blame him. His rallies really spoke to the problems facing america where Hilary went out and created problems and convinced the world with her billion dollar budget that Trump's supporters are unintelligent deplorables when in fact every person I know who voted for trump were highly educated and followed politics very close. I don't know one hilary supporter who looked at foreign policy or any types of numbers regarding military spending or budget. clinton supported 7 wars.

reply

Really? The only Trump supporters I know are racist inbred *beep* who are too stupid to figure out that Trump is a delusional petulant narcissist whose only policy plans are to dismantle every regulatory agency so that he can make more money.

reply

You don't know any Trump supporters

In Ah-nuld's defence, it really wasn't his fault.

I had no idea that the show even started, so therefore, NBC and their Marketing Team are at fault for the crap ratings for the premiere, not Arnold.

It also doesn't help that some of the celebs are not recognizable. Except for Boy George, Carnie Wilson, Snookie, Ali, and Jon Lovitz, I don't know most of the celebs competing.

I like Trump and glad he won the presidency, but he really needs to shut up on Twitter.

Honestly, I think NBC and Mark Burnett did that un purpose this season. They went back to the basics like season 1 in 2004 to see what people like and dislike about the show. Then I am confident NBC will renew the show for 1 more season to improve on the changes based on fans reactions. Arnold is a good host and is starting to find his grove. Its not fair to compare Arnold to Trump as Arnold only had 2 episodes thus far where as Trump has been host for 14 seasons. If Arnold has many more seasons, people will warm up to him. Also Arnold is more well liked than Trump.

The tasks and boardrooms are about to get exciting and so are the advisors.

Also the ratings have been low the first two weeks as its been up against major football competition from ESPN that brought in 15-25 million viewers. Now with the competition back to normal this week, no football, Trump had his press conference last week, Trump taking office in 5 days, and Warren Buffet on the show, ratings should rise this week and the weeks to come.
