Arnold did okay. Trump is way better though
You're term - ma - nat - ted.
shareI disagree. Trump was always the train wreck. The show was always about his ego, nothing more. The projects and the prize money were just distractions to him. And, he took his own ego very seriously. It was painful to watch.
Arnold is having fun with the show. And that makes me enjoy it.
And, of course, Trump has moved on to dishing out pain for the whole country.

I disagree. Trump is 100 times better than Arnie as Apprentice.
share> I disagree. Trump is 100 times better
Please explain. What were Trump's best qualities?

As much as I hate Trump as president I loved him as the boss on the apprentice. Yet I'm still going to be patient with Arnold. He may get more comfortable as the season goes on. He did check some people in episode 2 and I thought that was pretty funny.
shareThat was funny when Arnold was trying to speak to the men and that one girl wouldn't shut up.
shareI'm not bashing Arnold. I thought he did fine. But Trump is way better. Just like Arnold is better as Terminator.
shareAnd, as I asked before, please explain Trump's qualities that you think make him a good host.

Hey bing, why don't you list what's so great about Arnie?
shareOkay, so I've asked you three times now to explain and support any one good thing about Trump and you've ignored the question each time. Is it time to conclude that you have no answer and that you can't actually praise anything he's done?
--
What Would Jesus Do For A Klondike Bar (WWJDFAKB)?
I don't have to answer anything you ask bingo.
share> I don't have to answer anything you ask bingo.
Of course you don't. And we all understand exactly why you continue to refuse to answer.

No need to get all huffy about it. It's obvious it wouldn't matter what I say. You're gonna throw a fit no matter what.
shareNo huff, no fit. I'm just asking you to back up your opinion and you can't.
Nothing more to see here.

Sometimes people just prefer one thing over another, kind of like I like peanut butter over chocolate, why b/c i just do. Apparently the OP feels that Trump is better, s/he doesn't have to have a reason other then he likes and prefers him more.
share> Sometimes people just prefer one thing over another, kind of like I like peanut butter over chocolate, why b/c i just do.
But, there is always a reason, even if you don't realize what it is or are too embarrassed to say it -- it's always there.
In your case, maybe chocolate is too sweet for you or peanuts remind you of your grandfather. Whatever. But, there is a reason. For the poster I am debating with, he probably prefers Trump for non-PC reasons that he'd rather not state in public.

lol @ Bing. You 're just an annoying idiot.
shareOh, you are back again! Ready to list any reasons yet why you luv Trump so very, very much?
I didn't think so.

Pardon me. I didn't realize that the creator of a thread is the only one allowed to express an opinion. You sound as deranged as that new president-elect.

Dang what a let down. All these comments mislead me to believe there was an engaging dynamic conversation jumping. Bing, you asked an honest and simple question. Expecting a reasonable reply w/obvious Trump trolls is futile. Apparently Bill O'Reilly is yet to publish the talking points arguing why Trump is better. They don't know what to say...but that didn't keep them from speaking over and over, while adding nothing. I'll be moving on...hopefully to a more elevated conversation w/people who can construct a simple thought to support their own argument. And for the record, I prefer Arnie.
shareLiberals wanna turn everything into an argument.
shareHonestly, I think NBC and Mark Burnett did that un purpose this season. They went back to the basics like season 1 in 2004 to see what people like and dislike about the show. Then I am confident NBC will renew the show for 1 more season to improve on the changes based on fans reactions. Arnold is a good host and is starting to find his grove. Its not fair to compare Arnold to Trump as Arnold only had 2 episodes thus far where as Trump has been host for 14 seasons. If Arnold has many more seasons, people will warm up to him. Also Arnold is more well liked than Trump.
The tasks and boardrooms are about to get exciting and so are the advisors.
Also the ratings have been low the first two weeks as its been up against major football competition from ESPN that brought in 15-25 million viewers. Now with the competition back to normal this week, no football, Trump had his press conference last week, Trump taking office in 5 days, and Warren Buffet on the show, ratings should rise this week and the weeks to come.
Did you vote for Hillary and are still salty about it?
Hey! At least you can still say "muh Russians". :)
> Did you vote for Hillary and are still salty about it?
Yup. It is just fascinating how that happened. I saw a study the other day that showed that the less education you had, the more likely you were to have voted for Trump. I mean, I knew that America was still dropping in the overall education levels, but I really didn't think that we had dropped this far.
It's time to dump much more money into the educational system.
But, oops! Pence wants to eliminate the Department of Education, ensuring that Conservatives will retain the advantage over Liberals for decades to come.
As Trump would tweet at 3 in the morning, "Sad!"

Arnold Schwarzenegger's stock in Hollywood must be fairly low if he has to resort to reality tv (assuming he was paid big bucks, can't imagine he would do it on the cheap). This has no bearing on how good or bad he is as presenter, just seems like a bit of a career dip for him. Looks like Arnold's A-list movie career has been 'terminated'!
share> Arnold Schwarzenegger's stock in Hollywood must be fairly low if he has to resort to reality tv (assuming he was paid big bucks, can't imagine he would do it on the cheap).
I assume that he did this mostly for fun. I mean, he's 70 years old and done an amazing amount of stuff in his life, from block-buster movies to Mr. Universe to the governor of California. I'm sure that he's not really interested in jump-starting a movie or sitcom career. He's already set for life and now he can just take on fun projects.
And, that's gotta be pretty darn fun judging other people and wise-cracking a few jokes and imitations here and there.

Microsoft Word, try it! 😉
shareBing is very salty.
shareI'm not so sure about that https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=QTbkbH3x7LQ
shareBing, the last sentence in your post reveals, I think, why you wrote the rest of it.
I understand that before Trump entered politics you might have felt the same way--but your need to include the insult at the end completely takes away from any Apprentice criticisms you wrote.
I do wonder one thing: If the other years this showed aired were "painful to watch"...how often did you tune in? I have seen some shows that seemed painful to watch and about the most they ever hooked me for was three episodes--thinking it would get better.
Why don't we just shoot 'em down and be through with it?
> I do wonder one thing: If the other years this showed aired were "painful to watch"...how often did you tune in?
Every single week of every season. I watched it for the same reason that people rubber-neck at car wrecks on the highway. It was just so fascinating to see him contradict himself from week to week and make illogical decisions and self-serving decisions. It was like I was watching a psychopath at work with no constraints.
Now, while painful to watch, it was entertaining as a harmless reality show on TV. But, to have that same psychopath acts the same way as leader of the world's most powerful country, that is both painful and frightening.

Arnold is pretty good, I can see why they chose him because of his history of being in the Terminator films and the Conan films, I actually liked all the movie quotes he did on the last show. I also really like the new slogan "you're terminated" but his accent is going to take a while for me to get used to. It's just hard to listen too.
Plus, it's too early to say which one is better between Arnold and Trump. However, one thing is for certain, Arnold is the biggest star to ever appear on a reality show. I'm kind of surprised that he agreed to do this show.
@Stickman38 I'm kind of surprised that he agreed to do this show.
I guess you haven't seen the box office numbers for his latest movies.

Donald is the only president to have a show.
Remember Arnold was out of the movie limelight for years as the Governator and he's a lot older so there's not a lot for him to grab at this time.
I like how Arnold runs the show. I did like some of his lines and when the girls were talking over him, he just stared them down.
And he's not googling at the girls like Trump did.
Trump may have been fantastic but I didn't really watch the show back then. Just now getting into it with Arnold. He's done a fine job so far. The "choppa" line made me laugh because it was in such a tense moment. His anecdotes are on point as well.
shareIm liking both.
