Based on the Welches comments about how they wanted to target the "millenial mom" I can only assume that they believe the average millenial mom is a complete moron who is easily confused
It can be quite odd what goes through the minds of people who are marketers or advertisers. I remember a few seasons back the celebs had to create a YouTube video for Tide detergent. The Tide people didn't want the word "mom" used, instead "women with children." I thought this incredibly odd, just what demographic would object to, or be annoyed by, the word "mom"? I guess common sense prevailed, as in the end, "mom" was used.
