Boy george freakout

I wonder why he flipped out over the keyboard player.

reply

It was obvious to me.

....Zing!

reply

I found it entertaining.

I see his point but I suppose he could have just told the guy politely to just play what he asks and that he doesn't want input from the guy.

The funny thing is, if they let the guy go, he'll probably leave and never really be totally sure what happened. Then when/if he watches the airing of the show he'll be able to see what he did to piss George off and how it all went down.

Lamar Jackson for Heisman!

My money is on this just being edited dramatically and by next week's episode, they'll show Boy George working it out with him.

reply

I don't think so. I think this will end up costing him in the end.

reply

Why would it cost him? If anything it was good to get rid of the idiot who thought it was a collaboration rather than a simple performance on keyboard. It's like if any of the people who have helped with editing on any of the tasks (those nameless faces) started to overly put in their two sense. Number one, it could be seen as a form of cheating if they came up with too much guidance for the celebrities and number two, it's a distraction.

reply

The keyboard player is sitting there with Boy George, a man that has sold millions of records and he wants to tell him how the song should go. That was really dumb on his part. If anything, he should have tried to learn a few things from him.

reply

Agreed! Does this person know that George is a singer and songwriter? I think George knows what key to write a song in. And his remark "Maybe you need to sing stronger" or whatever he said? Tell the man how to sing? How many albums have you sold? I can understand why George was mad. I know entertainers have ego's so this guy was out of line. George was patient at first trying to tell the guy what he wanted and how he thought it should go. Hopefully they'll get it worked out. And if the keyboard player is a professional he will take the criticism or suggestion and do his job.

reply

I'm guessing cos George plays by ear and doesn't think in terms of the rules of chord progressions etc.
