Lamest finale EVER!!!

Seriously....
Only 7 episodes this season? Finale just a bland episode without a 2 hour thing going on with a "live" finale bringing back all the contestants and some suspense over who won?!?!?!?
Producers, network, whatever got it totally wrong for this season IMO. I'm thinking this was the last season of the show, and I don't blame Arnold. He did a fine job IMO. Not the same as Trump, but he was commendable at the task. They just rushed this season and it didn't work.

Agreed. The finale was "acceptable" to me but really, it was the only MAJOR change in this season than from previous. Everything else was pretty much the same. I think the producers and whoever else was in charge were lazy rehashing the format which, imo, were on its last leg two years ago. They had the chance to rework it and makeit better, a new statement, but no. They did not. Bummer.

Yeah but they were 2 hour episodes. So, its almost like doing 14 shows in 7 weeks.

But it was a very anti-climactic finale. The live finale is a lot better but I suppose they just didn't want to do the live show again this year.

Yeah, no live finale was both a surprise, and kind of a disappointment, too. I think doing it in front of an audience lends a certain tension that's lacking when it's all pre-taped behind closed doors. Also seemed like the other finalists should've been present instead of Matt having to go to the suite and announce that he'd won. I liked this new season enough, but those are changes that didn't enhance things in the slightest.
