They said that Costas' DNA check out. How did Ethan Hawke manage that?

They didn't say it matched the real Costa.
Plus they meant hair found on the body, not blood. Costa could have easily taken a few hairs from the other guy and planted them on the body.

I thought they said it came up clean, as not connected to other crimes. Not too far-fetched, since they didn't know who they were looking for initially.
