Pls tell me there are others who hate her. With her fake pout and her overdone expressions, especially after the cop slaps her...and after the call she receives from Hawke...I wanted time to rewind to the sets, while filming, to slap her hard...Cant stand her acting. She is more about getting people's attention than acting...Roll my eyes.

I can understand your frustration with the character. After all, how could she not have seen that coming and even prevented another death walking into the elevator. I mean, talk about sleeping with the enemy. No, I do not hate Angelie Jolie at all. Other than Ms Rowlands, Angelina's performance was the next best thing in this lousy movie.

Personally I love her look. it's very unique and incredibly sexy. Turn off for me is thin unfull lips. Jolie has full, pouty natural lips, no surgery involved.
When someone tries to recreate that full pouty lip look, It just doesn't work but it does with Angelina because it's natural and fits her unique look. Maybe I'm a little bias being a 'lip' man lol (amongst other things).
I like women who are visually different and unconventional. World would be a boring place if everyone looked the same.
I like her performances as an actress, some more than others. I thought her performance in 'Girl, Interrupted' was incredible and I was very impressed with (as with the other actresses in that film including the late Brittany Murphy who is truly missed).
There's plenty of actors who just don't do it for me and rather than just avoid all of their work, I'll watch first and see if maybe they have improved. Sometimes they, right out of the blue, they just astound you in their performance. But 'hate' them? Nooo
She's a one trick pony with the same expressions and faux-angst for everything. It worked in Girl Interrupted but it's been downhill since. Her glazed, pouty expressions in The Bone Collector were so out of place while playing a keen rookie cop that it ruined the film for me. Have found her intolerable since.

She is an actress, her movies sell ALL OVER THE WORLD, not just redneck yank land. Its well-known and proven with almost every film she makes, that she does not do as well domestically (in America) as she does when her films are released internationally.
