Who else almost had a heart attack?

Well, I'm not easily scared in movies, but this one really shocked me.

When Angelina was looking for something in Mrs. Asher's house: she lied on the bed and all of a sudden someone touched her. I really didn't see it coming and got my heart pumping very hard.

Also, when she was checking some house and all of a sudden drops a dead body from the roof. It scared the life out of me, I didn't see it coming either.

What about you guys?

reply

Haaaa I just finished watching it and I SCREAMED at both those parts!

I pride myself in not "scaring" easy, but HAVE to admit, the scene where Angelina gets grabbed from under the bed at Mrs. Asher's house made me JUMP big time!!!!

Speaking of which, who was that supposed to be anyway!?!?

I don't know, maybe it was just a cheap scare

reply

Completely agree...... that bed scene got the hell out of me as well..... one of the most scariest one i have ever seen.

When i watch a horror movie and it goes all spooky and quiet i only half watch it as i know there is going to be a jumpy moment so i wasn`t too bad for the dead body dropping from the roof scene.

BUT

I wasn`t prepared for the hand grabbing Jolie bit and i jamp out of my seat and have never had such a bit fright watching a movie in my life and it was on a small tv at home i watched it haha.

Just saw the movie, and yes the scene where someone grabs her from under the bed got me a bit.
I guess without the scary music, which is sometimes played in an anticipation of a scare, a lot of us didn't expect it.And that's why it worked.

Yep, I jumped too even know I could tell a 'jump' was coming, both those moments got me.

hahaha I know what you're talking about xD I REALLY do.

The first scene scared the hell outta me x)))

I saw this in theaters a while back and remember jumping during both parts, especially the body falling from the ceiling. The hand from under the bed was shown in the trailer, which took away some of the scare factor.
