Did we ever find out who their real dad and mom or was it ever addressed?
shareDrake & Megan were Audrey's kids and Josh was Walter's. It was addressed in the very first episode when the two families moved in together & you could always tell thereafter by how each parent was addressed by each kid - Mum, Dad, Walter or Audrey.
Besides I think you could probably guess Josh was Walter's!
Maybe they had a bad divorce...or maybe they're both widowed?

It was never mentioned. Dan Schneider has a habit of writing missing parents and not saying where they are. The only one who ever got a mention was Sam's dad on iCarly. He's said a few times he doesn't write episodes about them because he doesn't want to make a kids' show too dark.
Really just leaves holes in the story. Besides, if he just gave an answer on Twitter or something they'd all be happy.
Yeah, he probably thinks to himself "the fans'll never notice" and then just drops them off the face of the earth.
