Tree House: Was Megan so wrong?

I don't really understand why everyone hates Megan in this episode. I mean, in a more general sense, I understand the Megan hate, but I don't get why this episode, in particular, gets singled out, mostly since her revenge seems kinda' justified.

Drake and Josh didn't let Megan go to her birthday party. They provoked Megan, yet no one seems upset with Drake and Josh for that. Yet everyone hates Megan for not letting Drake and Josh go on their dates. While it is an eye for an eye, Megan has done a lot of bad things with far less provocation than that. I don't get why Megan not letting Drake and Josh go on their dates is so evil, yet no one cares that Drake and Josh weren't letting Megan go to the birthday party. Is it just the Megan hate in general?

Actually it was their parents who decided that no one was going anywhere. And who can really blame Drake and Josh for jumping at an opportunity to get back at Megan by saying she was involved in the tree house incident which she was. It's not just the fact that she made them miss their dates but she left them in the tree house all day and took every chance to torment them with it.

It wasn't the fact that she didn't let them go on a date, it was the face that she kept them trapped in a tree house for several hours on end without food or anything to do. Just for trying to get back at her for the several things she's done to them over the years!

I don't blame the brothers at all, Megan deserved it. Heck, she deserves so much worse than that.

She should had been mad at her mom and Walter since they where the ones who didn't let her go to her friend's birthday party. That gave her no right to keep Drake & Josh in the treehouse and give them RAW MEAT.(Which could had kill them) plus all the crap Megan did to them in previous episodes I think it was good they allowed her to get punished too.
