i aint american so i dont know wot ur cinemas r like there but i know about the film floppin there, but how is that they were able to gain 500 million from it or gain money which raised thier account to 500 million if the film flopped?! and dis is from a man talkin on "mary kate and ashley:the fabolous life of" i mean if a film flopped, u aint gonna twist it and say the opposite cos every1 has already got the proof?!

shareI think mka got paid the money BEFORE the film was a flop I mean they prob. signed a contract or something saying right, if you do this movie you'll get paid, (however much). They didn't KNOW before hand the movie was gonna flop so bad. They just lost money on it.

They still make money by selling the rights to play the movie to home entertainment channels like moviemax, hbo, starz, etc. they also sell the playing rights to airlines so they can show the movies on their flights. plus, even if the movie flops, someone has to go see it so you know it was bad. i am sure some 10 year old had a birthday party and took 10 of her friends to see it in theatres. they may not have been paid $500 million but they still got some money out of it.
