Scene Question

I have a scene in my head, but I don't know if it actually happened, or if I imagined it...

Brian had rode his bike to somewhere, and hadn't taken his helmet off. A lady saw the helmet and not the bike, and assumed he was a bit special, so was all like "aww hello sweetie, how can I help?"

Also, do I gather they were saying Brian had died in the episode when Rodney joined the team?

The opening of the first episode (not the pilot) opens with Brian riding up to a building, setting his bike aside, then walking up to the door. At that point we get the hint the place is where people come in or call when they're in need of counseling/help. When the woman opens the door she says hello, then Brain says he needs to talk to someone and when she asks if he wants to talk to her, he pushes past her showing his bus pass for identification which she mentions. Then when he's about to open a door she tries to stop him and Brian reminds her he has unlimited travel rights to anywhere, anytime (bus pass.) The first door he opens is obviously the wrong one, so he tells them to carry on, then heads up the stairs. The person he's looking for is on the phone, so Brian hangs up the call, which turns out was a suicide prevention. Then the opening credits run.

Not sure if that's the scene you're trying to remember? Maybe there's another where a woman says hello sweetie - but to be honest, I thought that's what she said in this scene, but I was wrong - she just talks with that kind of tone to her voice.

I'm not sure who Rodney is, but I think I recall some mention of Brian after he left, but I thought it was more along the lines of Brian killing off his place on the team, not actually dying. I think if a mention of his death would have generated a post on this board, but maybe not?
