I was just referring to the fact the Spielberg has a record of trying to push progressive, liberal, a bit leftist themes in his art (although he also has a very obvious love of Americana as well), as do the majority of popular or critically acclaimed creative artists. Jaws has the plot elements of the conservative, profit centered, right winger characters being in the wrong and getting bit by the nature they deny or try to fight it for their own self centered reasons. I love the scene where it hits the nail on the head on the spin right wingers take on environmentally cautioning researchers/scientists (getting the cover of National Geographic in the movie, and accused of simply trying to make $$$ in real life currently).

No really, how the is The Terminal specifically anti-white? Tom Hanks the lead and his romantic interest are presented as white, aren't they? As is the managing "bad guy" of the airport? Is it because the lower ranks are different culture / color people? The multi-ethnic/race makeup reflects the reality I see at either major NY airport. Also the main character did not immigrate... he is leaving to go back at the end.

That attraction is not a transaction and that both minorities and model-calibre white women are just people and can therefore become attracted. There are plenty of people who are not shallow.
