Near the end of the movie we are shown United has a direct flight to Krakozhia. Isn't that weird? I assume then NYC must be a popular destination for Krakozhians... Which is not what we were led to believe earlier when Viktor was the only one to arrive from Krakozhia on that day. The whole thing was confusing.
shareI love this movie but there are many plot holes and this is one of them. And even if there was no direct flight from Krakozhian (which ended up proving that there were), it's quite odd that only one person from that country would arrive in the USA around those days. And with more Krakozhians in transit, I'm sure that Immigration would have a guideline on what to do with these people. They wouldn' simply let them wondering around a terminal. Probably they would send them to a country that had acknowledged the new government in Krakozhia.
