The most scripted reality show ever

I think I've seen most of the previous season's episodes, but this new season is just ridiculous. It might as well be a sitcom, it's scripted so badly. It's not really even reality TV anymore.

Disappointment x100

Yeah, ever since I found out that show was scripted, which wasn't hard to figure out, I was kinda disappointed. But now I watch the show not as a reality TV show, but as a sitcom. It makes an okay sitcom to me.

Yeah, I don't have any inabitions about reality TV. It doesn't break my heart to find out shows are scripted, but it does annoy the crap out of me when they don't even try to hide it. Some of the stuff looks so fake, such as tonight's episode's ending where Paris sadly watched Hunter kiss that random hired actress to portray Paris' competition, I was rolling my eyes so much, they still hurt. I guess if I do look at it as a scripted sitcom, it won't bug me as much.

I can watch seasons 1 and 2 over and over again because they are so funny! Season 3 is okay, but you could tell parts were scripted. I wont even start on the last 2 seasons because its so scripted it hurts. I only watch it for Nicole

Well, it's just like what happened with Viva la Bam I believe--that all the events are planned out (even if it looks like they're spontaneous), but not necessarily all the dialogue. Scripted or not, I find myself literally always laughing out loud when I watch the show, so I enjoy it.

This season is not as shocking and funny as the reast. I still watch the new episodes just because i just became a fan of the show by watching the reruns weeks before the new season's premire on E! I have to say that season 1 and 2 kept me laughing the entire time. the season with them not been friends and this one has been so scripted that i can't help but to sort of feel like laughing less. So far bad job and although i do laugh once or twice during the short 20 minutes of scenes that they have, i think i'm still going to continue watching it till it goes off air.

The first 3 seasons didnt seem scripted at all but ever since its been put on E! it seems really scripted.

Ahh, good point. Didn't notice that. Could the network be to blame?

Did anyone notice that in the "This season on the Simple Life"-Preview Nicole says "I'm chain-sawing his desk in half!" in a totally different way than she says it in the actual episode? In the preview she says it in a normal way, in the actual episode she is giggling while saying it.

Well, here's another thing...I heard reports while the show was filming, that at times, they actually re-did takes...a big no-no for a GENUINE reality show. But I say oh well, it's still hella entertaining.

I'd say either Season 3 or this one, Season 5 are my faves.

Hey, it may be scripted but it's just for entertainment and it's entertaining me very well.

Ever since it when on E! [[seasons 4 & 5]] it was so scripted. TSL: 1-3 is the best.
