Pong: The Movie
Rumor has it that 20th Century Fox just got the rights to do a movie and have John Woo pegged to direct. They said they want either Vin Diesel or Keanu Reeves as the ball.

no they should make the movie about a tournment for pong and its a huge tournement they could make it have a real 70s feel and stuff. Only if mitch hedberg was still around he could play the lead role *beep* that would be tight
RIP mitch
You're *beep* kidding me.

Thing is, Vin Diesel already agreed to be a cube in a Tetris movie, so it would make it difficult for him to appear in a Pong movie, considering that the emotional performance that is required from him in Tetris would take too much from him and that he would not be able to perform well enough to do curve balls if he was to appear in Pong... (by the way, sorry for my poor english, hope it is still understandable for the native speakers ! )
shareoops...don't even know if we can do curve balls in the original Pong (or in any Pong for that matter), but you get my point...Or not...Doesn't matter anyways, I didn't have one to begin with.
shareI would recommend Bruce Willis to play the role of one of the paddles, but he's already signed on as one of the spaceships from Galaga.
If you love Jesus Christ and are 100% proud of it copy this and make your signature!
How long would this film be? 2 hours of action packed pong?
Dont have sex, or you *will* get pregnant.....and die.share

Nahhh, Arnold has too much rivaly with the co-star Vin, who stole his role in Pac-Man the movie, starring as the blue ghost. Shame really, because Arnolds acting style would really suit the role of the left paddle.

Will the movie feature a cameo from Q*bert or Pac Man?
"Have you ever noticed how men always leave the toilet seat up? That's the joke."
I'm guessing pac-man, although he would be hard to cast. Q*Berts character need's to be portrayed by someone with great acting talent. Uwe Boll will sort that out for sure, possibly casting Christian Slater.

I completely agree with you, Hayden's acting style will suit Pac-Man well. Walk forward, turn left, walk forward, and so on. It seems like a clear cut gem for Hayden's acting career.

Ah I simply cannot wait for this masterpiece, I've heard off some inside sources that the movie is tipped to win at least three oscars. Hearsay at the moment, but I do have faith.

This thread deserves more attention, especially since they made Battleship into a film.
